This pre-orientation is mandatory for all new incoming First Year and Transfer Students. We welcome your Parents, Guardians, and support system to join you on campus as well, and have designed a schedule of events just for them! At Griffin Day, you will take a look into student life and academics at Chestnut Hill and hear from your student support team and advisors. You must complete all placement tests prior to June 30th. If you cannot complete placement testing, there will be staff available at Griffin Day to help you complete this task.

Financial Aid and Student Accounts will also be present and eager to answer questions to finalize your financial plans for the upcoming school year. Not to mention, you’ll have fun getting to know your new classmates!

PS: If you’re an international student you do not need to attend this event.

If you cannot make this mandatory pre-orientation, please ensure you’ve completed all placement tests, submitted all forms on myCHC checklist and have a payment plan set up. Students with a balance and no payment plan will not be allowed to move in their dorms on move-in weekend (August 25-27).
